New Years Eve!

So with only a Few more hours to go until January 1, 2012 I thought we would talk about New years resolutions! =)

Now every year I try to set a goal that is attainable, but for some reason by around March I have given up on my resolution.  Sometimes its just because I dont feel like it anymore, and sometimes I just forget.  So this year I am posting my Resolutions so that I can remember them, and because now that they're online I can't take them back. lol. =)

1.  Be more positive.  Now I consider myself to be a pretty positive person already, but I figure I can always be MORE positive.

2. Post more often.  When I started Miss Imperfect I was posting once or twice a week, Now I feel like it's once every two or three month, so I want to post more.

3. Be Healthy!  I want to eat healthier and work out more.  I'm also going to do a 90 day challenge (More about that tomorrow).

4. Keep the house cleaner.  I am by NO means a neat freak so I want to get into keeping things a little cleaner.

So I think that that is about it.  A list of 4, 4 rather easy, attainable resolutions that hopefully I can stick to!

So what are yours? ♥ ♥ ♥

I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL New Years Eve!!! Also Everyone Please don't drink and Drive Tipsy Tow offered by AAA: You don't have to be a AAA member, from 6pm-6am on New Year's Eve/Day they will take your drunk self and your car home for FREE. Save this number... 1-800-222-4357.♥ ♥ ♥

Breaking Dawn: Part 1

Yup, i saw it! =)  I went with some friends and we were going to go Friday, but they were sold out so we went Saturday morning at 11:45.

First, let me say that I have read all of the books and I love them.

But the movie, eh.

There were parts of the movie that they just drag on FOREVER, like to the point that we got bored.  But then there are parts that should have taken up more time that were barely even blips in the movie. And I'm probably going to get flamed for this but I just don't like Kristen Stewart. Well, I guess it's not that I don't like her, I just don't like her as Bella.

Another part I enjoyed about the movie is you don't have to hear her constant inner monologues. My cousin and I agree on that.

The wedding was BEAUTIFUL.  I loved the wedding, and her dress was so pretty. (A little, did-you-know: Did you know that they used an actual priest to Marry them? Not just an actor.) It was pretty cool to actually watch Edward Break the bed on the honeymoon, and the house where the shot the honey moon is pretty. =)(

I will try not to give away any spoilers, but If I'm going to do that I better stop now =)

All in all it was a good movie, and the way they end it leaves you wanting more, seriously I am just itching to see part 2, I am SOOOOO Excited!!! (I am a little upset that I have to wait another YEAR!)

I give this movie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Let me know what you thought if you have seen it!

Tuesday, October 25, 2011's been a while

A LONG while!

So how is everyone?

There has been a LOT going on in the life of Miss Imperfect, not all good, but not all bad either.

Although, this is pretty bad, I have the stomach flu, YUCK. I feel awful, I hate it.  PLUS everyone s
ays, "Oh drink Gatorade, it will make you feel better!" YEAH RIGHT. I don't know what it is, but Gatorade makes me sick. I know its supposed to help, but it just makes me feel 10 times worse.  So I've had to call in to work (My new job for which Im still in training for) Which will probably screw me, but I cant be there, I cant go in and be running to the restroom every 10 minutes.

But ANYWAY, I am currently sipping on some warm ginger ale (gross I know), munching on some saltines, and watching the Golden Girls.  Fun times for Miss Sickypoo.

I was planning on doing a "How I curl my super thin hair" tutorial, but as Im sick, that's not going to be happening. =(

Well I hope everyone is doing well, and that no one else has this nasty bug thats going around!!!

Plus, let me know your opinions on what you would like to see on Miss Imperfect, it would be very much appreciated!!!!

Have a great Day!

Super Duper EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so if you can't tell I am SO SO SO EXCITED!  And the reason I am so excited is because my sister and i are planning a trip to Europe!!

It is going to be a one month Vacation and we are going to hit 8 cities! it is going to be so amazing.  We are both like bouncing up and down in excitement.  The only thing is that this trip is like 2 years away. haha.

Yes, I said 2 years.  We want to be able to plan and save before we go, which we think is smart.  We want to know where we're going and what we are going to do before we just hop on a plane and go.  Plus we want to make sure we have money to enjoy it.

We want to go to Dublin, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Venice, and Rome.  So we might end up staying a little longer than a month, but only time will tell.

Has anyone ever taken a European Vacation?  Have you ever been to any of the places we would like to visit?  What would you do if you visited these places???

Let me know in the comments below!

Have a good day!! =D

The Black Widow Trainer Series

Hello Everyone!

So now I'm Going to do a book review on books One and Two in The Black Widow Trainer Series by Craig Odanovich. These books are kind of erotic, so if that's not for you, please stop now. =)

So book one is simply titled The Black Widow Trainer.  It follows Misty, a personal trainer on her journey to becoming The Black Widow Trainer. From there we meet her Clients and her Body Guard Miguel.   One of Misty's first clients is a man who asks her to train him while he is on vacation in a foreign country, he asks her to write up a contract, as a list of demands.  I her contract Misty adds a stipulation, which is that she will train him for three months, but if he ends up sleeping with her before the three months is up she collects all of the money and leaves.  There is one more thing, Misty is also married!

This book was GREAT!  I loved it very much. It had romance, drama, and very likable characters.  Misty gets to travel the world on someone else's dime and meet a lot of different and some unusual character. =) It is most definitely a great read!

The second book is called Captured Prey.  In this book Misty falls for a man she meets, who is NOT her client, but not one to be tied down, Misty returns to her home.  When she is with another client she decides to take a weekend and go see the man she likes very much.  In this book Misty gets into some trouble, and she doesn't know if she will be able to continue her lifestyle.  She is caught between a rock and a hard place!

This book was just as good as the first.  Drama, romance, sex, friendship, and even a bit of fear for one of the characters!

These are the only two books of the Series that I have read so far, but I WILL be getting the next ones!!

So my original idea for this was to read these books, and give one away.  But that will not be happening, these books will be staying with me!  So here is what I'm going to do.

The winner will receive a copy of the first book, The Black Widow Trainer. (but not mine!)

Here are the ways to enter!

CoverGirl Smokey Shadow Blast!

Ok, so recently I bought one of these CoverGirl Smokey Shadow Blasts. Now if you don't know what it is it's a double ended Cream Shadow stick.  One side of it is rounded, and it is the lighter color which is an all over lid color.  The other end is kind of pointed and is for around your lashes and your crease.

I HATED this.  First off, the colors weren't very pigmented. When i wear eyeshadow I like to be able to see it. and I couldn't with this.  The eyeliner end had a little more pigmented that the "all over" color, but not much.

After about 3 hours I could feel this creasing, and I had put a primer on before using this! After about 4 hours it just felt nasty, I wanted to wipe it off my eyes.  It felt sticky and nasty, I just did not like it at all.  When I finally got home I rushed to take it off.

I really wasn't a fan of this at all.  It just really wasn't for me.  Now maybe if I had put a powder shadow over it I would like it better, maybe it would stop it from creasing. But you're not supposed to have to do that, it is supposed to work on its own. But whatever, I am going to try it with a powder shadow over it, but I will never wear it on its own again.

I give this product zero stars.  I wasn't a fan of it at all. =(

Have you ever tried the CoverGirl Smokey Shadow Blast?
If so, did you like it?

Have a great day!!!

Yay I got my Heelys!

Woo hoo! I got my Heelys  today and I am excited to try them out.

GRANTED I will probably fall on my butt, but hey, oh well.

So this is the box they came in

Aren't they pretty?!

And this is what came in the box.  The red card that is attached to the shoes is directions on how to use them.  It tells you to try them while holding on to something or someone first and work up from there.  It also explains how to stop.

The bright pink things are the wheels, you can take them in and out.

And the thing with the black handle is the tool to take the stoppers out.  You can see them on the bottom, they're the black things.  When you don't have your wheels in you're supposed to put those back in.

On the lid of the box it shows you how to remove the stopper things and insert the wheels, and how to remove the wheels and insert the stoppers!

I am very excited to try these out! =)

I'll let you know if I fall!

Heelys is throwing a Labor Day/Back-to-School special!! Between Sept 2-Sept 5, Buy one pair of Heelys, get the second pair for only $30!

I received samples of the products for review purposes. I was not financially compensated for this review. This opinion is 100% my own!

Rimmel Day 2 Night Mascara!

So recently I bought this mascara.  I have a few different kinds I like to use and honestly I'm always tring different kinds.  The reason I chose this one was because
1. My FAVORITE mascara is by Rimmel
 2. It was on sale.
3. I like the packaging
4. Because it's volume and length.

I really like this! As you can see there is a smaller cap and a larger cap, If you twist off the back you get the "length" and if you twist off the pink you get the "volume".

The length applicator is the option you can use to add to your day make up look, giving you a lighter more sophisticated, defined, lengthened lash look and the volume applicator is the option you can use to add to your night time make up giving you a fiercer, dramatic look with 15x fuller lashes without clumps.  This is also compact and it doesn't take up to much room in my purse, and I only have to carry ONE instead of TWO, which leaves more room for other goodies. lol.

The performance of the mascara is impressive with the length applicator brush giving your lashes a long defined look and the volume applicator brush giving you visible fuller lashes. And they both do it without any clumps which is important especially when switching from day to night looks with little time for mistakes or mishaps.

Mine is the one in the pink package! =)

All in all I give the Rimmel Day 2 Night 5 stars!! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I'm so nauseous. This sucks.  I have an overwhelming urge to get sick, have had it all morning.  But I'm at work, and yeah, that wouldn't be very good.  I should have just stayed home, i was planning on it, but at the very last moment (Literally, I had 2 minutes before I had to get ready) to come to work.

Stupid Move girly!

But oh well, it happens.

So the other day I got another "Ast Miss Imperfect" email, woot woot. So here we go:

So i'm a big makeup buff, I love everything about it, and I don't like to leave the house without it on, but When I put my eyeshadow on sometimes it leaves little flecks on my face, and when I wipe them off It messes up my foundation.  What can I do to stop this!?

I hate eyeshadow flakes.

I hate eyeshadow flakes too, so I started doing my makeup a different way =)

1. I start off with an eye shadow primer.
2. Next I put on my eye shadow
3. Next I do my eyeliner and mascara
4. I wipe off any flecks that may be on my face.
5. THEN I put on my foundation. =)

It works well for me, It keeps the flecks off my face. =)

I hope this helps!!! =)

If you have any questions you would like to ask miss imperfect you can email me or leave it in a comment below!

Have a great day!

Best Pet Health

Ahhh, review and giveaway time.  Who doesn't love reviews and giveaways?!

So today I'm reviewing Best Pet Health, Nutri-Vet Ear Cleansing Pads for Cats. I have two cats and they are my babies, and I want to make sure that they are healthy and taken care of.  Now every once in a while we have a problem with the ear mites, yucky.  And the ear wax does build up if their ears aren't clean.  Our vet told us to use a q-tip and a dab of hydrogen peroxide, so that's what we were doing until we got these ear cleansing pads!

The first thing I noticed about them was the smell, they don't have a harsh chemical smell to them, they're soft, and they have a nice texture.

I used the pads on both of my cats, and while I was doing it they squirmed a bit, but they always get squirmy when they get their ears cleaned.  But it didn't bother them, and the pads worked! I didn't think it had been so long since I cleaned their ears!  They didn't have ear mites or anything but the wax buildup was clear on the pad after I finished.  I give these wipes 5 Stars, they really did the job.

Nutri-Vet Ear Cleansing Pads for Cats are soothing and non-irritating and do not sting or burn and can be used daily! =)

Best Pet Health  is a new online store and is the web destination for all Nutri-Vet products.  They offer high quality products to enhance all dogs' and cats' lifestyles.  They offer FREE SHIPPING to the USA on all orders of $45 or more and they ALSO have a Deal Of The Month Page!  You can also follow Best Pet Health on Facebook or Twitter by searching for them.  They do weekly giveaways, answer product questions, and encourage everyone to talk about their pet!

Today is going to be a BAD day.  Why? Well, let me tell you...

Last night I could not sleep.  Like at all.  I laid down at arounf 10 PM and didn't get to sleep until around 1:30 this morning.  On top of that BOTH of my cats decided they needed to sleep on the bed, so I had one curled up by my feet and one right up against my side.  So I can't move.  THEN I had to get up at 6 AM to get ready for work.  So I am tired.

THEN I get nauseous.   I still feel sick, but I'm at work and I really don't want to throw up here. Blah.  Yeah, I know, that's TMI, but oh well.  I'm trying to just breath deep and fight the sick feeling. lol.  It's not working very well.  The funny thing is that I felt FINE until I had my coffee and cigarette this morning.  =/

but OH WELL.

I have a nice long workday ahead of me and then I get to go home and go to bed =)  Hopefully that'll help. lol.

Oh, and while I was up yesterday unable to fall asleep I watched The Proposal.  How unbelievably SEXY is Ryan Reynolds????  Dear lord, the man is just gorgeous. =)

How is everyones day going so far?

Why Hello There!!

How are you this morning?

Today is a great's Friday! Woot Woot! It's almost the weekend!

The only problem is that I have an awful headache. blahhh.

Well anyway, lets get on with it.

So I go to Starbucks every morning, and every morning I order the same thing. But yesterday morning I came to the conclusion that I go there WAY to much.  I don't even have to order anymore, I pull up to the order box in the drive through and they already know me.  I was talking to one of the girls and the girl behind her was making someone elses coffee and she saw me and started waving, the guy that was making mine was smiling and waving.  Yeah, they all know me.  But I guess it's good because they know how I like my drink too, and they make it delicious!

They're nice too, so I don't mind, but it just made me giggle that I go there that much.

NOW shall we play a little game?
I say..........................................YES!

This one is a little longer, but oh well!!!

Ok, I'm going to start this off by saying that our air conditioner at work is broken and it is HOT like HOT HOT HOT in here. lol. I just want to jump in a pool of ice water. lol.

And now..........

Most people don't know that I am a closet choreography addict. I seriously LOVE it, I could sit on youtube and watch my favorites all day. Some know that I dance, but not many know I love to watch it. lol.

To me, one of the HOTTEST things is when a guy can dance to a sexy song and not make it overly sexual.  You see so many people that dance to a sexy song and its all grinding and stuff and I just think "ew." But when a guy can take a sex song and dance to it and it's smooth and sexy I LOVE it.

One of my FAVORITE choreographers is Brian Puspos, and yes I have posted him on my blog before, you might say I'm a little obsessed =) But he is just SOOO good.

In this piece he danced to Chris Brown and Ludacris- Wet The Bed and it is just HOT HOT HOT.  It is a VERY sexual song and the dance is just smooooth and not overly sexual at all.  I would say that i've watched it at least 20 times already, lol. =)

This is probably a song you're not going to want to play at work.  There is no bad language but it is a sexual song, unless you couldn't tell by the fact that it's called Wet the Bed. =)

You should still definitely watch this though, it is a great song and the choreography is BRILLIANT.

You have done it again Puspos! =)

Ok, so I have been meaning to do this for quite a while, but I'm a bit spacey and I keep forgetting so here it is! =)

Birchbox is a company that sends out samples monthly.  You can sign up for a monthly membership which is $10 a month or a yearly membership.

So every month, during the first or second week I get a pretty box that looks like this:

Isn't it so pretty??

When you open the box there is always a note card with a little note and on the other side it has the products you get in your birchbox

Now the blue tissue wrapper with the bow on it has other samples inside =)

And these are the samples I got in my July 2011 Birchbox!

I got
1. Korres Shower Gel
2. mini Philosophy Facial Cleanser
3. Pur Minerals pressed Mineral Makeup and brush
4. Redken Shine Flash
5. Kind Almond and Apricot bar!

I LOVE Birchbox, I think it is a great way to try out new products without paying full price, and it really is a great deal too.  If you look at it most of these products are $20.00 or MORE for a sample size, and you are getting all of this for only $10.00 a month! The packaging is always nice and I have never had a broken or damaged product.

When you sign up for Birchbox you get to pick your sample preferences, so you can go through and choose what types of samples you would like to get.

Another thing I like is that you don't know what's in your birchbox until you receive it, so I really enjoy opening it so I can see all the goodies that I got.  It makes it even more exciting for me!!!

Each month the samples ARE different, and each month you get a different note on the note card =)

This is my June Birchbox:

In this one I got
1. Kate Spade Twirl perfume
2. Laura Geller Baked Blush N' Brighten
3. Oscar Blandi Hair Serum
4. Pangea Organics Toner
5. Herban Essentials Orange Towelettes
PLUS I got a couple little other sample packets =)

And in my May Birchbox:

I got:
1. Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss
2. Serge Lutens perfume
3. DDF Wrinkle Resist Plus Pore Minimizer
4. Ahava Mineral Body Lotion
5. And Tiny Prints Cards!

I think they do a great job of matching my samples with my preferences which is a great thing, I have yet to receive a sample I don't like or won't use.  Plus some of them are FULL SIZE!!

If you want to check out Birchbox you can visit their website at

Ask Miss Imperfect

So I recieved a question that I thought I would post the answer to up here, so here goes.

Miss Imperfect,

I have CRAZY knotty hair, I have tried everything I can think of to get my hair to stop knotting, but nothing is working.  It is getting to the point where my hair is just one big knot.  It is hard to brush, it hurts to brush, and when I do brush it it comes out.  I don't know what to do....I love my hair.  Do you have any tips??

Miss knotty hair.

Well Miss Knotty, I know what you're going through, my hair is very thin and I have the same problem, so I'm going to give you some tips that have helped me =)

1) I deep condition my hair 2 or 3 times a week, if I don't it gets VERY bad.
2) I only wash my hair every other day.
3) I take a bath once a week.  When I am running the water I throw a little Epsom Salt in. I put my hair under water and let it soak for around 15 minutes.  When I pull it up I let it dry for a few minutes and then work some conditioner through my strands. I take long baths so the conditioner sits for at least a half hour before I rinse it out, it helps quite a bit. (Epsom Salt ALSO helps with achey muscles.)
4) When you wash your hair make sure it is WET when you put shampoo and only damp when you put conditioner in.  I wring my hair out before I use my conditioner.
5) Grab a wide toothed comb and take it in the shower with you, use it to comb your hair after you put the conditioner in it. The conditioner makes it a bit easier to comb and combing helps work the conditioner into your locks.
6) Leave your conditioner in for 2-5 minutes every time you use it.
7) Never BRUSH your hair while it's wet, it leads to breakage and damaged hair will always knot easier.
8) Use a detangler.
9) Leave in Conditioner is your friend.  I even use it on days I don't wash my hair.  I use the John Frieda stuff, but you can use anything you want =)
10) Use a wide toothed comb or finger comb gently to try and work the knots out.
11) When I comb my hair and it's knotty, I grab the section of hair and hold it while I comb it, it makes it not hurt SO much.
12) When you comb out a snarl work from the ends to the roots.

And that's about it for now.  Of course there are home remedies you can try such as Olive Oil and Mayonnaise, but I can't stand the smell of mayo, so I've never tried it. =)

I hope this Helps!

"I said WHAT DOES MINE SAY?!!?!?!"

lol, I love that movie.  It is so stupid it's funny.

So I'm sitting at work today and I get the hiccups.  Not just little ones either, but big ones that make me sound like Goofy laughing, not a joke.  And do I get help? Nope, I get laughed at. lol. But oh well, I probably would have laughed too.  One of the perils of working in an environment with 3 girls and 13 men. =)

I'm having a bit of difficulty deciding what song to put up too, I have been in a lot of different moods today, and I've been listening to Gary Allan a lot, but I just did a Gary Allan song. So what should I put up....hmmmmm I wonder.

How was everyones 4th of July??
We relaxed, it was a very nice MUCH NEEDED 3 day vacation.  Getting up at 6am and not getting home until 6:30pm is really starting to take its toll on me.  I've got a cold, of maybe it's just my sinuses, but my nose is all runny (I know TMI). But yeah, it was a nice vacation.

This is the song I chose for today. lol.  I LOVE this song.  It makes me giggle =)
And it's somewhat true!

Have a great day everyone!!!

I ride the wrong road

Just as fast as I can
God knows there's no one else to blame
Sometimes I think I
Get off on the pain.

Ahhh, the wonderful Gary Allan, the official Bad Boy of country music. To see why gary Allan is classified as the Bad Boy all you really have to do is look at him, he just has that bad boy look with his arms tattooed and his slightly scruffy look, and that unmistakeable bad boy smirk.

And his song "Get Off on the Pain" is where Gary thoroughly cements his status as the eternal bad boy, from the lyrics, "There's a side of me that just won't stop, dancing in the flame, maybe I just get off on the pain." to the intense video of a rodeo.  That sinister smirk Gary is wearing says he really does Get Off on the Pain, and that is sexy as hell.

In my opinion Gary Allan is one of the most underrated country singers out there, I would rather listen to him than Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, or Brad Paisley (I can not STAND him.).  But he doesn't get much radio play even though he is 100 times better than them.

Some of my FAVORITE Gary Allan songs:
1. Get Off on the Pain
2. Man to Man
3. Nothing on but the Radio
4. Songs About Rain
5. Right Where I Need to Be
6. Learning How to Bend
7. Her man

And those are all tied for first place. lol.  I really do love him.  He is such a great artist and he writes his own songs....He is just great. =) I love Gary Allan. Below is the Song with Lyrics that you can listen to if you can't get to youtube.  But if you can you HAVE to watch the video, which is also below! =)

LOVE LOVE LOVE ♥ ♥ ♥  Watch this =)

Have a great Day Everyone!! =)
